East-west continental divide marker needs new paint

Obviously placed here some time ago, the sign is hard to read but points to the Atlantic Ocean on the on hand and the Pacific on the other. It also  records the altitude in feet above sea level: 5382 to be exact. A mile is 5380 feet.

For those unfamiliar with feet and inches, this East-west Continental Divide this is more than a mile above sea level, and a mile is 1.6 km.

The cairn marks the boundaries between Alberta and BC, and between Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park.
