Freshwater Mangrove

Image of Freshwater Mangrove from ausflowers

Freshwater Mangrove essence is made from barringtonia acutangula. Related to the Brazil nut, this tree grows near water. It is also called the Indian oak. Known in Sanskrit as Hija or Hijala, it has long been used in traditional  Ayurvedic medicine. The name of the fruit can be translated as nurse's fruit.

This remedy supports the Root Chakra and Crown Chakras. It is very beneficial for those who want to open themselves to new experiences. It strengthens our willingness to question received beliefs and old prejudices which are inaccurate and inappropriate.
